Burlington Street East has once against topped the CAA’s annual list of Ontario’s worst road.
The stretch that runs from James Street North to Nikola Tesla Boulevard has been rising in position each year since it first appeared on the CAA’s dubious honour role in 2009.
Burlington Street East has appeared on the Top 10 list more than another other road in campaign history.
Eglinton Avenue West was named worst road in Toronto at number five, Drummond Road in Niagara Falls was sixth, McLeod Road in Niagara was eighth and Pelham Road in St. Catharines was ninth.
Potholes were named the primary reason a road was selected by 75 per cent of voters, while 14 per cent highlighted a lack of cycling infrastructure and another 10 per cent cited congestion.
