If you remember the Kindness for Kaitlin campaign that came about in the late winter, it’s a campaign of Birthday cards for a young lady in Brantford who has Williams Syndrome and felt like she had no friends. Well, the outpouring of support for Kaitlin Coghlin was so great that her family has decided to share the love with the community and support other families whose children fear not having anyone to celebrate their birthday’s with.
That is why they are having an Unbirthday Birthday Party Picnic event at Mohawk Park this afternoon where families are welcome to come out and celebrate no birthday in particular. They asked for people to get tickets for the little ones who wanted to celebrate their own Unbirthday to ensure they knew how many gifts to get they did make it clear that you don’t need a ticket to participate in the activity tables or attend the event.
If you have a young one who wants to have some fun and doesn’t normally socialize well or if you want to extend some respectful affection to people who want to enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon the event is taking place July 8th, 2018 at Mohawk park, Brantford, starting at 12:00pm. Find the information also on the Facebook event.
