For your springtime stroll, here are some old English words that mean, “walking.” 1. SNAFFLE-sauntering 2. SOODLE-sauntering 3. NOCTAMBULATE-walking at night. 4. SNUDGE-walking with a stoop. 5. PLODGE-refers to icky, slow, molasses-type walking. Plodge is probably a variation of plod.
