A Six Nations school wants to keep indigenous language alive and has turned to modern means to make that a reality. Its hard to argue that in today’s society of smart phones and smart TV’s that there are two things people turn to for learning. Youtube and Apps, and with that in mind they developed Speak Mohawk. And app that allows people to learn how to speak words and phrases for a language that is spoken by less than 2,400 people in Canada.
The Speak Mohawk app will use games, quizzes, and other learning techniques to teach words for greetings, clan names, feelings, places, and time.
