  2. Rockton: Westfield Heritage Village Ice Cream Carnival. Come discover how this delicious, traditional summer treat is made the old-fashioned way. Volunteers will be working hard at six wooden ice cream churns, preparing cool and delicious treats for you to sample. Crafted the old fashioned way, you can enjoy these treats with real cream, fresh fruit and other delicious ingredients. The kids will love the Edwardian Carnival and don’t forget to have a ride on the steam traction engine. Today: 10-4PM
  3. Simcoe: Lynn River Music and Arts Festival.   (Final Day) Laughter fills the air, as buskers and musicians entertain shoppers looking for that one-of-a-kind art, craft or hard-to-find antique. Start your day with a ‘Pancakes In The Park’ breakfast or sample scrumptious treats served by the many food vendors. Live entertainment, a Kids Fun Zone and daily special events will make every day unique! Today: 11PM-PM
  4. St Jacobs: St. Jacobs & Aberfoyle Model Railway is one of North Americas finest “O” Scale layouts. The model railway depicts Southern Ontario in the late 1950’s with hand built models of both major railways, CN & CP. Both passenger and freight trains run through realistic scenery passing countryside, fields, beach, rivers, towns, a large city and even part of the Niagara Escarpment. Railroad enthusiasts will appreciate the accuracy and attention paid to every last detail. Today: 11-5PM
  5. Elora:  Industry Day. Today is one of Canadian harness racing’s most celebrated events; attracting racing fans province-wide and beyond. This year is the 27th annual! More than 5000 people are expected for the two signature races; The Battle of Waterloo and the Battle of the Belles with combined purses totaling nearly $330,000! There is lots to keep the kids busy as well with face painting, bouncy castles and a petting zoo on site! Today: noon onwards! Grand River Raceway
