The City of Hamilton is warning of ongoing traffic issues this morning as they work with the running of the Road2Hope Marathon which is impacting the Red Hill Valley Parkway.
“In order to accommodate the Road2Hope Marathon, the City of Hamilton will close all downbound lanes of the Red Hill Valley Parkway between the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway and Barton St for the morning of Sunday, November 4, 2018.
The closure will begin at approximately 8 am and the road is scheduled to reopen by 1 pm on Sunday.
In addition to the closure on the Red Hill Valley Parkway, several HSR routes will be following detours for parts of the morning. Details can be found here: www.hamilton.ca/hsrdetours
Motorists may experience some delays along the race route throughout the morning.”
