NY Times study says every hour you run could add 7 hours…..to your lifespan!

Keep up that morning run!  Scientists say that running for an hour is the most effective exercise to increase life expectancy. This holds true no matter how many miles or how fast you run. Take this advice to heart and you might just add three years to your life!

The study, conducted at Iowa State University, reinforced findings of earlier research. At whatever pace or mileage, a person’s risk of premature death dropped by 40 percent when he or she took up running!  This applied even when researchers considered factors like smoking history, and other health problems such as obesity.
