3D Certification Programs – Brantford Public Library, 173 Colborne St. 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Saturday Jan. 19 and multiple further dates.

Here’s your chance to bring creativity to the next level! The Library now offers card holders the chance to print 3D designs that last up to eight hours. This certification program is mandatory for customers that want to print items that take longer than one hour. The program will provide an introduction to 3D printing and cover resources needed to get you started creating and modifying designs. The certification program is open to people ages 13+ and no previous experience is required. The Library has a range of professional 3D printers, including one that prints in multiple colours. Rabbie Burns Dinner & Dance – Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163, 435 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton Saturday Jan. 19 5:30 pm to 12:00 midnight

Join the 163 for their annual tribute to a Scottish Bard, Rabbie Burns. Entertainment features the 163 Pipes & Drums, the Sandra Bald-Jones, Schiehallion Dancers, followed by dancing to the live rock group “PRIME”.  Dinner will be traditional Scottish Meat Pies & Haggis.
