There is a possibility of seeing the Northern Lights shining in the night sky tonight as the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is predicting a geomagnetic storm that will cause the aurora to show much farther south than it ordinarily would.
According to NOAA there is a possibility of seeing it as far south as the northern U.S. and southern Ontario. And with the local forecast calling for clearing skies overnight and into the morning your best chance of seeing it will be with clear skies, away from ground lighting, and of course the farther north you are the better the chances of seeing the lights.
