The past week was filled with speculation after Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, introduced the world to their new baby boy; 5th in line for the Throne, everyone was wondering what the new baby’s name would be? Social media and news outlets the world over were occupied with the question for three days.
There were even odds laid on what the decision would be with names like Albert and James being strong contenders before the new Prince Louis was introduced. The name choice surprised many as it had been given only 33 to 1 chance by those who spent their time researching and supposing what name might be decided upon.
However, Louis Arthur Charles was the name announced by Kensington Palace on the official twitter feed:

And that just days before the royal couple’s wedding anniversary.
Of course the name brought out the humorous side of social media with many tweets of a similar theme picking from the various famous Louis including another King.
So, if Prince George and Princess Charlotte abdicate we get King Louis? pic.twitter.com/N5y80nWuC2

But with the jokes aside the Royal Couple and their latest member of the family all appear to be doing well and that is what is most important. Congratulations going out to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their newest member of the family Louis Arthur Charles; AND on their anniversary.
