Nancy Sinatra Sr. Died Friday July 13

The first wife of Frank Sinatra, mother to his three children, Nancy Sinatra Sr. died on Friday, at 101 years of age, according to her daughter Nancy Sinatra Jr. She posted about her mother over the weekend beginning with the announcement:

That was followed up with a tweet about how Nancy Sr. “was a fighter until the end when her brave, loving heart gave out. She is survived by her sister, her daughters, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren” her son Frank Jr. passed away in 2016, leaving behind two children. Nancy Jr. has two daughters and her sister Tina has no children. The family has left a tribute to their mother on their website: https://sinatrafamily.com/

As for other tributes the family has received enough requests that Nancy Jr. once again turned to her twitter feed to help direct well wishers and offers of support to where she thought it would matter most to her mother.

Nancy Barbato Sinatra married her childhood sweetheart, Frank Sinatra, before he became famous and stayed with him until his affair with Ava Gardener became public knowledge and the two decided that a legal separation was insufficient. Despite the separation the two remained in contact and according to the NYTimes (https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/14/obituaries/nancy-barbato-sinatra-dead.html) he would still visit. She would outlive both Frank Sinatra and her son Frank Sinatra Jr. at age 101. She never remarried.
