Mystery: Could Walt Disney Be Cryogenically Frozen?

It’s interesting to note that Scientists prepared the first cryogenically frozen man two weeks after Walt Disney’s death. Walt Disney dedicated his life to the creation of children’s entertainment and became such an important part of history that his name still lives on today in the films, parks, and the ample merchandise that bear it. Still, Disney was known to be quite secretive, which is part of the reason why rumors still persist about his life and death, the most famous one being that he was cryogenically frozen and buried in an undisclosed location . While Walt Disney was a man who was definitely interested in the future and had a growing preoccupation with his own mortality, also led him to explore the science of cryogenics, there is still no clear evidence to back up the claim that he is frozen and buried in any kind of undisclosed location (the most popular rumor being under Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. That myth got started in 1972, when Bob Nelson, then the president of the Cryonics Society of California, gave an interview . He specifically said that Walt was not cryogenically frozen, Walt wanted to be frozen. He said the Disney Studios called him prior to Disney’s death and asked elaborate questions about the process, the facilities, the staff, and their history. “The truth is, Walt missed out,” Nelson said. “He never specified it in writing, and when he died the family didn’t go for it. If Disney had been the first it would have made headlines around the world. So, mystery solved. Walt is not on ice; he’s at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California, buried with his wife, daughter, and son-in-law…..Ed
