1. Niagara Falls: Icewine Festival.  For three weekends in January the Niagara region is transformed into a wintry wonderland, in celebration of one of Canada’s most cherished products, Ontario Icewine. Tonight’s Venue: The stunning Windows Room On the Twenty: each of the 4 courses served will be perfectly paired with Sweet, Sparkling and Sensational Wines from Twenty Valley.

2. Hamilton: 2018 NHL Alumni Benefit Tour. Come celebrate Dave Andreychuck’s induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. The tour features NHL legends from Stanley Cup winning teams, classic original 6 hockey teams and local former NHLers representing your hometown all in support of Help a Child Smile! The NHL Alumni Tour has proudly hosted hockey legends such as Walter Gretzky, Wendel Clark, Curtis Joseph, Tiger Williams, Theo Fleury and many more! The NHL Alumni Benefit Tour supports Help a Child Smile’s mission. Saturday: Dave Andreychuck Mountain Area Doors open at 5 pm, game starts at 6 pm.

3. Cambridge: Flight of White-Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. This truly unique holiday exhibit transforms the tropical butterfly conservatory into a magical oasis featuring 1000’s of additional Rice Paper butterflies flying freely through the Conservatory. With a wingspan of up to 14cm, the Rice Paper Butterfly, a large white relative of the Monarch, is impossible to miss as it floats through the air moving gently from flower to flower Saturday: 10AM-5PM (and thru Jan 31)

4. Waterloo: Train Trip through Mennonite Country. Join Waterloo Central Railway for a leisurely train ride through historic Mennonite country. Unwind and get educated on this scenic, an approximately 90 minute trip to Elmira and back. Saturday: trains leave at 10:10, 12:10 and 2:10 PM

5. Guelph: Goldi Locks and the 3 Bears Youth Concert. Join The Guelph Symphony Orchestra for a fun-filled, action-packed musical adventure of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, starring the String Family: the violin, the viola, the cello, and the double bass. Sunday: 2 performances 3 and 4PM
