World Polio Day Event

October 24, 2018 @ 5:00 pm

One day. One Focus. Ending Polio.

Among thousands of events held across the globe on World Polio Day—October 24th—the Rotary Club of Brantford-Sunrise is looking forward to bringing Rotarians and friends together on World Polio Day to learn about the disease, celebrate what we have accomplished, and find out what challenges are ahead to eradicate this disease.

Rotary clubs have contributed more than $2.2 billion to ending polio since 1985 and now it’s your turn!

Beginning at 5pm, in room 127 of the SC Johnson Building of Brantford Laurier’s Campus, 38 Market Street, you are in for a fun filled evening consisting of a cash bar, catered light fare, a speaker panel, and a live stream of the World Polio Day 2018 presentation from the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania College of Physicians with doctors, scientists, activists and Rotarians discussing their fight to end Polio!

Tickets are $20.00 and are available by emailing Phil Race at phil.wcp@hotmail.com or JoAnne Procter at procter.joanne@gmail.com
