Grand River Conservation Authority

March 3 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

In spite of Wiarton Willy’s forecast of six more weeks of winter, it’s probably never too soon to start thinking about tree planting.

The Grand River Conservation Authority is hosting an everything-you-need-to-know workshop on tree management for landowners next month.

GRCA forestry staff and other experts will be on hand at the GRCA Administration Centre in Cambridge to discuss topics ranging from planting to pruning to pollinators.

The workshop will be held Saturday, March 3rd from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. and landowners with more than five acres of property may be eligible for funding for tree planting to wetland creation projects.
