Canada Day Military Tattoo
Enjoy a spectacular military musical celebration and experience a tradition that celebrates 25 years in Dundurn Park! Feel the thrill as the Regimental Band of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Band and the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Pipes and Drums perform in front of Dundurn Castle. Catch a glimpse of the red coated defenders of Canada West at Ridgeway during the Fenian Raid of 1866, as the 13th Battalion Ceremonial Guard takes to the field.

Historic Garden Tours
Enjoy informative stories and historic gardening knowledge conveyed by costumed garden staff. The tour promises to be a pleasure for the mind and the senses. Dundurn’s historic Kitchen Garden catered to the nutritional needs and aesthetic desires of the MacNab family 150 years ago.
Date: SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS in July
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Family Friendly Workshop: How Does Your Garden Grow
Join our costumed interpreters for a hands-on workshop packed with kid-friendly fun. Your visit includes: a fun tour of the incredible two-acre historic kitchen garden, planting historic seeds to take home and grow, a scavenger hunt, and preparing a historic recipe in the kitchen. End your visit with an outdoor tasting of your delicious treats!

Dundurn at Dusk
Led by costumed gardeners, experience the sights and scents of flowering plants best enjoyed as the sun sets. After the tour guests will enjoy the view of the Bay in the rarely opened Cockpit building while sampling produce from the garden and seasonal recipes from the Historic Kitchen. Everyone will be invited to take a piece of the garden home with them after hand-crafting a floral bouquet or herb bundle.
