African Canadian Culture

Donnaree Douglas-Annon will be speaking on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 about African Canadian Culture.

This talk will begin at 7:00 PM and is being held at the Eva Brook Donly Museum in Simcoe: 109 Norfolk Street South.

 

Donnaree Douglas-Annon has actively been promoting African Canadian Heritage in Norfolk County since she and her husband moved to Norfolk County 11 years ago.

 

She believes that the Canadian people need to know the factual version of African Canadian history in Norfolk County by providing foundational knowledge about African Canadian History and Culture.

 

Ultimately, Donnaree Douglas-Annon would like to see the month of February entitled African Canadian Heritage Month.

Come to Eva Brook Donly Museum to hear Donnaree Douglas-Annon speak passionately about this culture and learn from this researcher and activist.
