DIY Galamboni

If you have ever tried to make a backyard skating rink you might have struggled with the condition of the ice. Getting it smooth is not easy; I can remember many winters watching Dad flood the pond trying to get it to settle for us to skate on. I wish we had been as creative as one Ontario dad, who found his own solution, he made his own Zamboni. Only he called it a Galamboni; because his name is Conrad Galambos. Along with his son George they decided to share this invention with the internet on Youtube.

 

And all it took was a garbage bin of hot water, a valve, a wagon, and a towel or rag.
