BooBoo The Cat Goes Home

Four years after BooBoo the cat went missing in her home in Watsonville, California, she turned up 4,000km away in Puslinch, Ontario! Quite the journey for the cat to have made. Still, some identifiable traits, along with an identity microchip, helped Olgah Chmelicek find her family’s lost pet.

After the Guelph Humane Society was able to get in touch with the Chmelicek family BooBoo was given back to her owner in Buffalo, N.Y. on Friday.

So how did a cat, which usually ranges about 47 meters a day, travel nearly a hundred times that? No one really knows. But the family is happy to have their pet back, and according to Chmelicek, BooBoo seems pretty happy about it too.
