A mother just left the water and noticed her sons were further pout than she thought. They and a number of people got pulled out by a riptide and were trapped in 15ft of water . She grabbed a boogy board and headed out to save them. Others joined in forming a a chain to save all of the stranded swimmers. The chain grew to 100ft. Her mother, also in the water suffered a heart attack during the ordeal but was revived in the ambulance later. All were saved thanks to the help of strangers.
“It was the most remarkable thing to see,” Simmons said. “These people who don’t even know each other and they trust each other that much to get them to safety.”
“I am so grateful,” Ursrey said. “These people were God’s angels that were in the right place at the right time. I owe my life and my family’s life to them. Without them, we wouldn’t be here.”
