105th Grey Cup Tonight In Ottawa

Its nearly time for the 105th Grey Cup, the Calgary Stampeders and the Toronto Argonauts will be going at it this year to see who reigns supreme this season in the CFL.

The Argonauts have made 22 Grey Cup appearances and have won a record 16 Grey Cups. The Calgary Stampeders have won seven of their 15 Grey Cup appearances. These two teams have a bit of a history at the Grey Cup with the Stampeders winning the first game in 1971; the Argonauts took the next two in 1991, and most recently at the 100thGrey Cup in 2012. That was the Argos last Grey Cup appearance, the Stampeders would come back to defeat the Ti-cats in 2014.

Odds-makers are having a tough time picking a winner in this match up as by the numbers the two teams look pretty even. They give a slight edge to Calgary. If the Stampeders do win tonight it was even up their Grey Cup wins over each other at 2 a piece.

The Freedom Mobile Halftime Show will see Shania Twain return to perform for the first time in 15 years. It is on the same year that she released her first studio album in 15 years. She is riding high on the success of her album “Now” which came out September 29th and has topped charts in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada.

The 105th Grey Cup takes place Tonight in Ottawa with kick-off set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
